Hi! I'm sure I commented when you first posted this wonderful story, but I saw it today on a recs page and knew I had to read it again. Just so lovely, calm (jittery underneath), warm and heartwarming, with a wonderfully perfect ending.

Real nice. No serious trauma, just maybe a little minor insecurity and chlorine up the nose--and Ray learns to swim like a regular person. For the rest...well, not even any chlorine up the nose. Also real simple.
