I liked this story a lot. I skipped to the ending before I started at the beginning (just to be sure it would be happy enough for my sensitive heart - and I decided it was). Along the way I was touched, moved, in tears and holding my breath. You write pain so beautifully. Only drawback for me was that the happy turn (just before the epilogue) wasn't written more explicitly. But then, not everybody might be so a sucker for sap as I am. Very good story.
