I really wish Ray Kowalski didn't start calling Fraser "Benny" in your story. IMO, "Benny" should only be Ray Vecchio's name for Fraser, with no one else calling Fraser by that name. That is what the creators of dS probably intended.
To ignore that, and have someone else use RayV's nickname for Fraser, makes it seem as if you're disrespecting RayV and his friendship with Fraser. Really - it's not necessary to totally erase that friendship to make the case for F/K (which it seems that you're doing). And it's more in character for Fraser to object to being called "Benny" by anyone other than RayV. I think Fraser would want to keep his friendship with RayV special by doing that.
