Jack Bauer sat at the edge of the swamp and sighed deeply. The big gator plodded over to him. Looking up forlornly, she laid her muzzle across Jack's lap. The man reached down and scratched the gator behind her eyes. At the happy grumble Jack had to smile a little.

Reaching down next to him, Jack pulled a piece of chicken out of a container and offered it to the gator. As carefully as possible, she took it from him between her big teeth and chomped with great pleasure.

He was so nice. Allie snuggled in to wait with him.
