About 24 hours from the time this post goes up, Squidge.org will undergo routine Sunday morning maintenance. SquidgeWorld’s maintenance takes about 45 minutes start to finish, but other systems including Squidge.org, Image hosting, and others usually have about 15 minutes worth of maintenance at most. However, Sunday, March 24th’s maintenance will take longer. And while the server may appear to be up for mail, IRC, and some web browsing, any site that depends on the PHP language will be down for longer as we install parallel versions of PHP (7.4 and 8.2). In our move to PHP 8.2, we inadvertently caused issues with a couple of fiction archives. Sunday morning maintenance should resolve it.
