Virtually indestructible, these cables now link the surface of the planet with the COCHRANE Space Station above. Up and down this razor-thin molecular wire, elevators move freight and the occasional passenger. Like Lt. Commander Doctor Elizabeth Dehner and Cadet T'Plawn Valeris. It's perfectly safe.
