Carry on with Love
Firelight played on a Hobbit's face, his companions fast asleep. Gandalf
sighed when he caught the fifth glance.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Peregrin Took?"
"Are they— Will this be all right?"
"What's this? Shire folk being afraid of true love?"
Pippin gave a near shriek. "Fear? No... yes... I do fear. For them. I
shall watch their... sleep."
Fool of a Took. Gandalf smiled, watching Pippin leave without further
hesitation.
