Watching You Watching Me
Your eyes strip me down to the very essence of my soul and I fear you can see behind all the masks I wear. See the need for leadership and strength. See the tiredness and hopelessness I feel. See the desire I can barely admit to myself. One look and you will know. One look and I will betray myself. It is my watch and yet I dare not to watch you. You could see too much.
