This story is dedicated to the two actors who gave us four seasons of their work--and also to the many people who after May 15^th, 1979, didn't want to 'say goodbye to S&H' ...

For reasons we needn't go into here, most of the hard labour involved in this beast ended up with one person--me. After the writing, the creative fun, was finished, I got the joy of transcribing, rewriting, cutting the stencils and collating. Proofreading--I did it twice, Freda did it once, and if any typos slipped through after that, I think they deserve to be in there. Printing was a mammoth enterprise involving much cursing and ink under fingernails. Chris shared that chore. Freda got the binding facilities for us. The cover art is from a design by Nimue.
