The Glitter Jungle:
Fiction:

Brat
Young Lex.

"Brat!"

The laughing teen in the black leather jacket ran away, blowing a wet,
noisy raspberry at the security guards chasing him.

"I almost got him!" They encouraged each other, shouting, "Don't stop!" and
"Faster!" in the dark, empty street. But he was young, and wild, and they
weren't. They lost him in some unlit back alley, and returned to their post, defeated.

"That was you, wasn't it?" Lionel was furious. Lex had come home at four in
the morning, again.

"What was?" Lex answered flippantly, smoothing the short sequin skirt he
was wearing. His dad had long ago stopped commenting on his outfits.

"The bald kid who broke into my office today, who knew the code. The one
they didn't recognise because of all the makeup." Lionel's voice was
frozen, but his eyes were shining brightly with anger.

"Want a banana daiquiri? I'm making myself one." Lex turned to the kitchen,
disregarding his father completely.

Lionel was irritated. "I should take you over my knee." That got him a look
from Lex. "I should've disciplined you years ago."

Lex smirked.

"I have other people who do that... *dad*."

It was Lionel's turn to smirk. "I know."

*Now* he had Lex's attention.

"Tell them they're not doing a very good job."
