Faust
The debt that must be paid, the fate that catches up with us sooner or later. Kronos/Methos

"You owe me," he said. Cried out, anger burning in his eyes, heated and centred like a laser beam, like the devil's flame pitchfork. "You owe me!"

And Methos thought, sadly, subdued, yes, yes I do. I owe you.

Because I promised forever and left when I could, because I swore love and loyalty and I gave pain. Because you were different, as was I, and you've gone so bitter with the years. Because it's not who I am now, and I'm not who you came looking for. Because I betrayed you when you failed me.

Because I will betray you again.

He spent that night under Kronos, whispering love and promises he knew he'd break come morning.
