He's just a man. He's made mistakes. He knows it now.
Lionel Luthor raised his son to be strong, never afraid, always in control. It worked splendidly. Lionel stood at the back of the crowd when Lex was inaugurated. Frequently visited the office of the best president this country ever had.
He was always politely accepted. But never welcome.
"So you see why I need your help." Lionel said to his companion. "It's never too late."
