LOL at the part where David tells House Wilson believes in Santa and House says to let him for at least the first year. :) That part where David is snuggling up to Cuddy and House says get your own - sweet! Hmm, when will House introduce his parents to their new grandkid?

Thank you all for such encouraging comments!

Filex-in case you're interested, I'm working on an unfinished story, "Nightmares," on my LiveJournal blog. naughtybookworm.livejournal.com is the URL. Also, I ironed out some of the kinks in David's Christmas there.

I have been having an extremely difficult time posting a comment here the past few weeks. I had to let you know I was so happy to find another H/W & David installment. This is at the top of my favorite fics series list. Once again your H/W is so evocative. The longing they have for each other along with David's desire for all of them to be a family, Beautiful. Cuddy added a nice dimension here for all. Hope you'll revist them soon.

I so very very tired. It's five : tewnty AM and I just finished reading the desperado series. My eyes are gonna fall out of my head. I tried reading in order but couldn't really find a concrete order so I just read them with as much of a coherence I could get from the summary's. I read gifted first then it drew me in. I can seriously say this is one of the best original character stories I've seen in quite some time. It reminds me off one or two stories I've read in other fandoms on the basis of cranky people getting kids and it softening them. I'm a firm believer in that theme. My tough facade melts like butter with one puppy-eyed glance from any kid. Even David a fictional character got me going. Unlike House I'd try saving face to the very end. I can't believe it took me so long to read them. I started some time in the afternoon, I'm normally quicker, I'll attribute it to taking my time to soak it up. I take longer to read things I enjoy, have to perfect the mental image. It's a shame I'm not a good artist, this makes me want to draw fanart. My brain hurts know. I've got to come back to these read them over and create a time line at least. Everything was so awesome but so jumbled, and jumbled at 5 AM makes me cranky. The cranky is counter balanced with love though. I loved that Wilson and House didn't jump the gun getting together. And the kid had a good progression as well. It was natural and it added more reality to it. I think he was spot on for an eight year old put in those circumstances. I'm proud to say my cousin that lives with me in a brilliant little eight year old and I saw alot of her in David. All the sad memories and pain he had just ripped my heart out. The overall family tones and love that came though in the series were great. There were so many adorable moments and some great Hot houson action too! The slasher part of my squeeled with delight and put this in the top five favorites in my mind. I loved it. And finishing the massive reading with this holiday piece was just the thing to keep a happy mood plastered to my face. I hope this review sounds decent enough and coherent, take into account that I'm about to smack my face into the keyboard with my exhaustion if it isn't. Loved it, loved it, loved, awesome, brilliant, amazing. ^_^ NONY <3

OMG! That was simply amazing! I love all your David stories and this one is one of the best. I am so happy to see Cuddy being brought into the family and seeing House and Wilson get together from David's perspective is priceless. I absolutely loved it! It was just what I needed to read for Christmas. Thanx so much for the AWESOME read!

What a wonderful Christmas present! I love your series, love the character of David. Many would say House is OOC is this series, but I read this almost as an AU and the eps have shown that House does have a soft spot for kids he's had to interact with, especially the autistic child. I like to read both the angst and the smarm...it's great. Keep these stories coming!

I stumbled across this website about three weeks ago and promptly found this series & have been rereading them ever since. This story was absolutely devine in portraying the Christmas spirit and resolving the tension between Cuddy and David over the Chanel 5 incident. Here's to hoping for future additions to this series.

Hey, thanks for the compliments!!! To answer sloopy about the adoption part: I'm deep in the throes of writing a really hard one about that. I didn't want to post it here until it was finished. You can read the five parts I have at: naughtybookworm.livejournal.com
