I enjoyed the story. House richly deserved that prank, and it was equal to the provocation of his own dangerous one. It was cruel, yes, but House should have known by now that a Wilson pushed too far is a very dangerous Wilson indeed. Of course, House found a way to rationalize his behavior, damn it. Would have to be so. Would be interesting if you wrote a sequel showing how the prank made them both stop going over the line the next time they were tempted...and they both knew it too.
