Allison's Poem
by Paging Dr House
Your eyes are shut
You think of him
Wounds, they cut
Chances, slim
Your heart, it pounds
Hands, they shake
Love knows no bounds
A chance you take
A pain intense
Tears, they fall
It makes no sense
It's now his call
You love each other
Yet, he's afraid
Shadows of a past lover
Cuts like a blade
You want to help
To ease his pain
Your cards are dealt
You try in vain
The choice is there
He needs to know
Your heart lay bare
It's time he let go
You love a man
Inside he's broken
Do what you can
It's time you spoken
