I enjoyed this story a lot. The characterizations feel just right to me.
I don't know if you kno this but Superman's pal from the comics and movies was Jimmy Olsen.I think that in season 1 of the House series, House was role playing as superheroes with Wilson in order to kill his boredom--he's Superman and-or Batman while Wilson is Jimmy and/or the Boy Wonder of the Batman comics (which was hinted at in one of the early episodes, written on a file or note for Wilson). House hides his identity as a "superhero" or doctor, by not wearing a lab coat. Wilson stands with his hands on his hips to confront House on many occcasions. People turn to them when they are desperately in need of rescue from illnesses, right?
I don't know anything. This is just by wacky interpretation of why House used to call Wilson "Jimmy" sometimes.
