It's a well-written fic, you've done a good job of his physical pain and the spoilers.
It's a sad, lovely fic, very Casablanca. Except I don't recognise this noble, self-sacrificing version of House or Stacy not self-absorbed but I guess we'll see how the episodes actually play out.

Nice job, and realistic in terms of House isolating himself again, while also doing some wallowing in the pool of self pity -- even while doing something for someone else.
It looks like you were drawing off the spoilers for a couple of episodes, but it also draws nicely from what we've seen so far. It'll be interesting to see how closely it reels out compared to what you've done here.

Yikes. This is good. Shows a real understanding of the inner House, his motivations, his desperate attmpt to maintain that exterior of not caring. I hope you will write more.
