Oh, Wilson! And the freedom of the ocean. Mmm. Wonderful descriptions.

So strange, that I came across this story just after watching a special on PBS wherein Robert Sean Leonard recites a monologue (from Long Day's Journey Into Night) about loving the sea. (You can see a tiny bit of it at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/oneill/sfeature/sf_video.html, at the beginning of clip 2.) Pretty story regardless--admirably quiet and character-focused.

Very interesting story. James Wilson is so special. His concern about House is so evident. Thanks for posting this.

Yay - I wondered if anyone else noticed that pic on his desk. Interestingly not of his wife. I wish they'd do a behind-the-scenes tour of Wilson's office, there is so much seemingly random stuff in there. Nice way to tie it in!
