Morphine albums
Morphine has just released (September 1997) a new record of older material, "B-Sides and Otherwise." I doubt it will be a huge hit, because it's less commercial than their last two albums, however, it has some interesting things on it: extended instrumentals, beat poetry and live tracks from radio broadcasts. The interesting thing is, this record is the longest ever from a band whose sensual recordings -- and live performances -- are regrettably short.
The songs are:
- Have a Lucky Day (live radio broadcast from "Super Sex" CD single) 4:23
- All Wrong (live radio broadcast from "Honey White" CD single) 3:40
- I Know You - Part Two (live radio broadcast from "Honey White" CD single) 2:54
- Bo's Veranda (from soundtrack of Get Shorty) 3:14
- Mile High (from soundtrack of Things to do in Denver When you're Dead) 3:02
- Shame (from "Cure for Pain" CD single) 2:44
- Down Love's Tributaries (from "Cure for Pain" CD single) 8:08
- Kerouac (from tribute CD Kerouac-kicks joy darkness) 2:54
- Pulled Over the Car (from Japanese release of "Yes") 2:56
- Sundayafternoonweightlessness (from "Super Sex" CD single) 4:52
- Mail (from various artists compilation Outstandingly Ignited-Lyrics by Ernest Noyles Brookings, Vol.4) 2:19
- My Brain (from "Cure for Pain" CD single) 2:45
