In an episode set in 1989, we see how the trio of paranoid conspiracy theorists -- known as The Lone Gunmen -- came to be and possibly how Mulder began his quest to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life. Richard Belzer guest stars as Lt. Munch, his character from "Homicide: Life on the Street," in "Unusual Suspects."
