In August of 2001, I was crazy enough to go to LA just for the sake of meeting the people that I have met on the Fan Forum boards (www.fanforum.com).  These are people I have gotten close to, talk to everyday and have cheered me up considerably during the rough patches I had through the year.  For a long while, it looked like I wasn't going to make it to LA if the plane prices didn't drop.  Then someone answered my prayers, the plane ticket prices dropped and I was booked on a flight to LA!  Even though it was short and I regret not spending time with alot of people, I had one of the best times in my life of that year!
