After the events that happened on 9/11, I wasn't sure if this event was still going to continue onwards.  But Maurice Benard and Real Andrews were determined to come and the money raised from the events, it would go to the WTC Fund.  I was just so relieved that they were still coming, I thought that Kathy and I badly needed the distraction from all that was going on, especially events that were so devastating as what happened.  I was still reeling from losing two friends in the WTC.  I almost lost my uncle and another friend.  I really wanted to be near my friends in NY and have an hour or two where I could just relax and not be sad anymore.  Maurice and Reel really provided that and were just totally great in making us laugh, cry and be grateful to be alive.
