Sleep Well My Sweet Prince
by Patt Paulos-Darrow
I looked in on you this morning, and you have the face of a God.
Or should I say, not only the face, but also maybe also the bod.
I want to hold you, I want to kiss you, and do I dare?
How do you feel about two guys, do you honestly care?
I want that form to be mine, and mine alone.
It is causing me to have some serious bone.
You don't seem to notice me, or that I can see.
But I sure notice you; you are all that you can be.
How badly I want you, how badly I seem to need.
Upon your body, I will adore, and on it will also feed.
You are like my breath, my love, my words and my life.
Damn it all, if I couldn't have come in a package for a new wife.
I will sit back and watch you, like I do now.
And wonder when you will notice, wonder how?
Sleep well, my prince, you will be in my dreams.
Sometimes the packages are not exactly what they seem.
I love you my prince, my Sentinel, my love.
And if you don't come around soon,
I will give you a shove.
