none is an unlonely no number of unwhole unimagined undreamed of unheard unfelt unseen unsmelt untasted unstory not even a shadow or a hint not even a whisper of a ghost or a sentinel or guide or dropping guns or enticing curls gleaming in the sunlight a fountain, a wolf, a panther crying explosions, car chases, smuggling rings, gang wars comfort food impatient patients wanting to get out of hospital now no police captain shouting or mother meddling or fathers distant, absent not a gentle touch or tender wacky nicknames no truck to stay in or cell phones to forget no trust assumed accepted taken for granted not longing gazes hesitant touches or words sweet or clumsy delicate or gruff no love, no affection, no declarations everlasting no hot and sizzling or tender and gentle or slow and nasty kinky deranged incredible improbable impossible sexual exploits not in the far future nor in an exotic past no meeting under another star in a distant land no coming together despite all differences hardships misunderstandings repressed memories and feelings too fearful to be unearthed no disapproving families friends coworkers nor approving ones for that matter no bad guys to be caught or crimes to be solved no peace offering snubbed or dissertations leaked no fights, no makeup sex no hurt, no comfort no death, no joy no tears, no laughter no none of the above not a one is in none
