Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was the first fandom we targeted. We got defensive e-mails telling us that the writing in this fandom is good, and they're not entirely wrong. There is a lot of good writing in this fandom, and even the stories we reviewed here were stories that, for the most part, we liked. It will be interesting to see if the writing remains consistent years after the movie was released.
