Archivist's Note: The author we're calling "Clio" was extremely active in S&H fandom from its earliest days. She produced numerous anthology zines, many of them extremely artistic. From the Cutting Room Floor was unique in that it involved only her own writing. We are thrilled to get her gracious permission to present it to you here in its entirety. As usual, there are many people to thank when a zine has been translated for the net. Starsky & Hutch fiction, in particular, often starts on paper, has to be scanned or typed, proofread and corrected, turned into html, proofread again, then set up on the Archive. Many people are involved in this labor of love. I want to thank, in particular, my partner in crime, SHaron, who has done so much for this fandom. Not only has she tirelessly pursued authors and persuaded them to let us post their fiction to a whole new audience on the net, but she has scanned reams of paper, proofread reams more, and organized an entire troop of vigilant fiction transcribers to help her help me to get more classic zine fiction on the net. The Archive wouldn't have nearly as much wonderful fic on its pages if it weren't for our SHaron. And I would be truly lost without her calming humor, her perpetually upbeat can-do attitude, and the wonderful fun she always brings into my life. It was truly a lucky day for Starsky when you fell so hard for him. Enjoy. |
