Fraser and Ray (pick your poison -- V or K) are on the run with ruthless gangsters chasing them through a group of warehouses. As they race into one of the warehouses, they are met by three snarling guard dogs. Now they have the dogs in front of them or the armed hoods behind them. What do they do?
***********
"Gah... What now Fraser?"
Fraser looked at Ray before returning his attention to the dogs. "Get down on your hands and knees, Ray." Fraser lowered himself in demonstration. "Get yourself below their eye level, and don't look them in the eye."
Ray followed Fraser's lead, lowering himself to the floor. Once down, they began to work their way past the dogs.
"This will show them that you are being submissive to them..."
Before Fraser could say anymore, Ray was on his feet, staring down at Fraser. "I am not going to be submissive to no dog, snarling or not."
Said dogs were now not only snarling, but barking, and getting closer.
Fraser grabbed hold of Ray's hand, dragging him back down to the ground. "No, no. You aren't actually being submissive to them, Ray. They only think you are. By being below their eye level, and not looking them in the eyes, you are showing them they have dominance over you, and that you are not a threat. If we can get past them, we can stand once again, and put the dogs between us and the Dalucci gang."
"Okay, Frase. As long as they don't try to get all dominant on me, I'll do this. But if one of them dogs tries anything funny, I'm using my gun. Just so we got this straight."
"Understood, Ray. But, do you think you could move a little faster? I think I hear footsteps. No doubt checking out the noise the dogs are making."
The two men crawled along the floor, passing the dogs, and rounding a corner, getting themselves out of harms way. Standing, Ray looked back around the corner, seeing that the Dalucci gang had reached the dogs.
"We better get a move on before the Dalucci gang dances on our tail."
Turning, he could see that Fraser was looking around the room. "Fraser?"
"We seem to have ourselves another problem, Ray."
"What'z that?"
"We're at a dead end."
"Uh, what'cha saying, here?"
"I'm saying that there is no other corridors from this room besides the one we just came from. The only other way out are the windows up there." He pointed to the windows about 10 feet above ground.
Ray looked around, realizing that what Fraser said was true.
"Maybe we can go out one of them. I don't know, like stack up a couple of crates or something?"
"Possibly. I was thinking more along the lines that I help lift you out, and then you help pull me up."
"Right, let's get to it. Pitter patter, let's get at her."
