A conversation in the back row of a movie theater.
******
Ray slumped further into his seat, rolling his eyes at the movie before them. Looking over at Fraser, he couldn't believe that the Mountie was appearantly so interested in what was being shown.
"Fraser, you can't possibly be interested in this."
"Shh, Ray. Watch the movie."
Scowling, Ray returned his attention, then dug out his glasses. "I can't believe you brought me to a foreign film. You know I don't like reading subwhatsits."
"Subtitles."
"Subtitles." Ray put his glasses on, sinking further into his seat, looking around to be sure that no one was looking at him. "Did we have to sit in the back row?"
Fraser sighed, then looked down at Ray. "Backrows are the most desirable row to see a movie, Ray."
"Why's that, Fraser?"
"For several reasons, actually. Sitting to close to the screen can cause undo strain on the eyes."
"Uh huh, why else."
"Also, as you may have noticed, most people don't sit in the back."
Snorting, Ray smiled at Fraser, "There maybe a reason they don't - like it's too far away from the screen."
That's when he saw it - a twinkle in Fraser's eyes.
"I take it there's another reason?"
Fraser got that look on his face, the one that said 'I'm about to do something very un-mountielike', which only made Ray really happy that they came to one of these artsie tartsie films where everyone had to pay attention to the screen so they wouldn't miss any of the dialogue. Before he realized what was happening, Fraser had his hand in Ray's lap, rubbing seductively up and down.
Sparky quickly became very alert to the proceedings, hardening up under Fraser's hand.
Breathing heavily, Ray groaned. "I see why it's so desirable now."
"I thought you would see it my way."
