Summary: Terry's POV about things

You get used to him being quiet. But right now, he's talking to me. I can't hear what Bruce is saying, but I see his lips move. Whenever he does say something...he's giving me an order or an explanation.

I mostly wonder what's he thinking about. I wonder what he dreams about. I've sat in a chair beside his bed while he slept. Sometimes he was very still, which scared the hell out of me. But other times, he'd stir and say things I can't make out.

"You have no idea what my nightmares are like." I overheard him tell Spellbinder that. When I asked him about what he meant by that, he avoided talking about it. Very typical.

But of course, I won't give up.

Bruce is a really hard person to figure out. Like Batman, he's pretty much a mystery. The only emotions he seems to have is mad, thinking and bossy.

"You can tell them apart?" Max joked to me on the phone earlier.

After only 3 months of being around him, yeah. I think of him as my boss. My partner. Well, what am I to him? His protege? His partner? Even though Bruce can be a real grouch sometimes, I would never let anything happen to him. Pray for the poor bitch or bastard who even THINKS about laying a finger on him.

He's my boss. He's my partner. He's my friend. He's my...

"Terry, are you paying attention? If it isn't about me, stop daydreaming."

Snapping out of it, I smile at him. Showing my teeth. His features doesn't change much, but the look in his eyes do.
