Chapter 1: Finding Family
"Why do they want me?" Wesley was asking himself as he parked his motorcycle outside of Giles’ town house in Sunnydale. Why ever did they want him? They hated him, he knew. Everyone hated him. But, he had been contacted, given the request, gotten permission and come. He had about 8 hours before he had to be back and he had a terrible feeling it wasn’t going to happen.
He knew somewhere deep in his heart of hearts he was going to be late and that would just add to what he would have to do to make up for this day but he had been called by Giles and Xander and he had to go or they would come and get him and Angel did not want that.
Wesley knocked on the door and waited as it was opened a moment later by Xander who actually smiled seeing him standing there. Wesley followed the teen in to the place and stared around. Giles had a lot of nice things and this place actually felt like a home. He’d never been invited anywhere the Scoobies lived except Buffy’s house that one time so he didn’t knowhow nice their places were but he could see Giles had a great one.
"He’s here, G-Man," Xander called leading Wesley into the room.
Wesley was walking behind Xander, head down as he was basically snapped into being the last time he had been here.
"Hello M-Mr. G-Giles," he stammered out. Xander seemed very excited and Wesley swallowed taking the seat he was pushed towards waiting for whatever joke he was about to be hit with.
"So, Wesley," Xander said. "Guess you want to know why I wanted to see you huh?"
"Y-yes," Wesley said softly. "I- I k-know you didn’t l-like me so I am c-curious."
"Yeah, about that," Xander said. "I’m sorry about that Wesley. I was a jealous teenager and I was also being a lemming in following Buffy. Dawn is right that we really didn’t give you a chance. And, I wanted to see you because my grandmother sent me a letter on my eighteenth birthday. It kind of tells me why I don’t look like my parents. It says I was taken away from a Jonothan Wyndham-Pryce by child protective services when I was 2. Uhm, it says neither me nor my brother whom the people missed somehow really belonged to him. We were taken from our real father, Rupert Giles, and given to him by the Council. My brother’s name, the one Granny really regrets missing, was Wesley. Wesley Wyndham-Pryce. He was 5 years older than me and my name was---."
"Jason," Wesley finished. "Jason Alexander Wyndham-Pryce. You---I was told y-you died but I knew you hadn’t but why do you care about me now? Why do either of you care about m-me? I’m n-not your f-favorite p-person even if we are r-related. W-why d-did you want me?"
"We’re family, Wesley," Giles said gently. "You, me, Xander and Ethan. We are family. We want to start again if you’d like to. If you want to try again. Try to show us Wesley and who he is."
"I-if you w-want to," Wesley said. "Y-you can t-try to see W-Wesley. Maybe you can see what I can’t?"
Giles nodded not quite understanding that statement but knowing he would try to figure it out.
"Okay," Xander said. "We ready to go out?"
"O-out?" Wesley asked nervously. Here it came. He was going to be excluded now, he knew it.
"Yeah," Xander said. "We were going to go out to the mall and stuff today. Family stuff, you know? Well, as soon as you change."
"Ch-change?" Wesley asked softly.
"Yeah, Xander said. Then seemed to think. "Well, you do have something you can change into right? At least a better shirt."
"Uh---well, n-no, not r-really," Wesley, said quietly. "I-I didn’t know w-we would be g-going out. This is all I h-have b-but if you w-want to g-go out s-someplace and this isn’t g-good enough I-I can s-stay h-here. I-I w-wouldn’t w-want to e-embarrass y-you. I k-know this isn’t g-good enough for anyplace you like o g-go M-Mr. G-Giles s-so I think m-maybe if you want I s-should stay h-here and maybe you’ll let me r-read some of your books?"
"Wesley---," Giles began searching for the words he wanted so he didn’t upset the young man anymore than he already was. "Are you telling me that’s all you had to wear?"
"Y-yes," Wesley said softly. "I-I can go away or---or maybe stay h-here because I know this isn’t good enough. I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin your plans."
"No, Wesley," Giles said. "We can get you clothes that are good enough I just---I’m surprised that’s all you have to wear."
"Council d-didn’t give me a pension, G-Giles. I h-have w-what I c-can afford on my check from A-Angel."
"Well, I am your father," Giles said. "And I plan on remedying this. Come along."
"W-where?" Wesley asked.
"To the mall, son," Giles said as they headed out to where his car was parked in the shadows.
Two were waiting by it. Wesley recognized Spike and Angelus. He knew it had to be Angelus because he did not have a fear this one was going to beat the shit out of him for not being in LA today.
"Where we going, Rupes?" Spike asked as they all piled in. The windows were tinted as dark as it was legal in the front and as dark as possible n the back.
Wesley sat in the back of the SUV with the vampires. Xander rode there as well. Giles and Ethan rode up front and they were soon at the Sunnydale Mall.
Wesley followed them around trying to pick cheap clothes but Giles would not hear of it and insisted on good clothes that would keep him warm on that machine of his. Wesley sighed and gave in. He knew he would never win in this fight. He knew he was going to have to find a way to leave the clothes behind. He knew a lot of things and the biggest thing he knew was that Angel was going to kill him. Especially when he looked at a clock in the pizza parlor they were in and saw it was 4:30 in the afternoon. Oh, hell. He was so late.
"Wesley?" Xander asked his newly discovered brother. "You have to have dessert before you go."
"I---but---," Wesley began.
He sighed giving and sat down. He knew he would be punished regardless now and maybe, just maybe if he were really late it would be left until tomorrow. But he sighed as they finished around 5:30 and he made his excuses and got on his bike and after changing back into his own shirt and headed out going back to LA.
"Something is wrong," Angelus said quietly. "He was afraid in the pizza parlor when he saw the time. He was afraid and resigned when he left. I don’t know what it is but something is wrong."
"Giles," Xander said quietly. "He left the clothes."
"Dammit!" Giles growled. Now he was determined to figure out what was wrong with Wesley.
*
Parking his bike outside the courtyard of the Hyperion Hotel Wesley swung off the bike and walked to the door with his head down looking as sorry and dejected as he could. Seeing everyone there waiting and all of them looking pissed and he paled.
"Where the hell have you been, Slave?" Angel growled as he grabbed Wesley by the hair and walked him to the counter. "You are four hours late! And what the hell are you wearing? Those aren’t the jeans I sent you out in and you weren’t wearing a jacket."
"G-Giles---," Wesley stammered as he was shoved hard up the steps.
"Get to your place, Wesley. We’ll be up to punish you for this in a moment."
Wesley swallowed and walked up the steps to prepare. He stripped his clothes off as he stood in the room and waited. He was going to be punished he knew. Punished so severely he would never dare be even a minute late ever again but it wasn’t his fault he was late but it was. He could have left during dinner. Should have left, knew he should have left but he’d been bad.
He’d wanted the pizza and the ice cream so it was his fault. He was standing waiting when Angel came in and smiled at him and how he’d prepared himself.
"Kneel, Wesley," Angel said and Wesley swallowed seeing what was in his hand. "Kneel."
Chapter 2: Punishment
"That’s it little whore," Angel said. "Suck me, slut. Suck me. You know you want it. Oh, yeah, Wes, so good."
He wanted to cry but whether it was from the lashes or the degradation he did not know.
"Harder, Wesley," Angel growled as he applied pressure to Wesley’s shoulders and the whip hit has back in quick blows. Gunn was nearly done meaning the beating part was nearly over. What would come next would be worse though. Gunn got to sixty and immediately, Gunn’s thick cock with no preparation impaled Wesley’s ass and he whimpered against Angel’s cock, which was buried, in his throat. He groaned around Angel’s while he sucked as Gunn slammed into him, and he whimpered as his prostate was hit with every stoke but the vibrating cock ring he wore prevented orgasm. He groaned and whimpered as he brought Angel to orgasm for the 10th time and had to swallow it all. He’d been allowed to vomit a few times and rinse his mouth with Scope and once Gunn came, he knew it was really going to begin.
"Uhm, Wes," Gunn groaned. "So damn tight. Yeah, come on Wes, clench for me you little bitch!"
Wes’ body obeyed and Gunn spilled his seed deep into Wes and cried out. He was immediately slapped hard.
"We’ll have to give that sweet mouth of yours something else to do besides cry out," Angel said as he called the girls in.
Cordy got first and Wes’ face was pressed between her legs. He made her come the same time she’d made Angel come and the then had Fred and the Gunn in the same way.
Once that was finished, Wesley whimpered as the vibrator was inserted into his ass and turned on. The harness clicked into place and he whimpered as his books were placed on the table in front of him.
"I want those three passages translated, Wes," Angel said. "You get it done and maybe we’ll stop early."
Wesley groaned as Angel used a slight bit of magic to make the two vibrators match speed and Wes began to whimper as his body began reacting to the sensation and he whimpered a he was brought to the brink 6 times and his hips pistoned hard against the table as if begging and Wesley screamed out twice as he finished the translations and his body was still begging hard.
"Please, gods, please, master!" He begged Angel who was stroking his nipples.
"Please, dear god, Angel, master!" His tears fell and Angel smiled.
Angel smiled cruelly and dragged him to the wall where there was a hole. The ring was removed as was the vibrator and he whimpered as he understood.
"Fuck it, Wesley," Angel said cruelly. "Fuck it hard, you little slut."
Wesley groaned as he got to this new chore and he fucked it hard and yet still was not allowed to come.
"Not yet, bitch," Angel, said cruelly. "Hands and knees."
Wesley obeyed by now in so much pain it wasn’t funny. He felt the cold touch his nipples and his body jerked and arched.
"Master!" He screamed out. It hurt, oh, God it hurt.
"You may come, slut," was whispered in his ear.
Wesley screamed as Angel jacked him off and he felt the explosion that caused pain and agony to shoot through him. It ahd been too long and oh, god he was hurting so much by the time his body stopped.
"Please," he begged curling up in a ball on the floor. "Please, I’m sorry, master. I swear I didn’t mean to, please."
Angel laughed coldly and stroked Wes’ ass before smacking him and Wes cried out again. He knew it wasn’t done yet but oh, god it hurt. He felt the others come back in and they all began to touch him and take turns with him and he whimpered and begged as he was forced to come for each of them or it didn’t stop. He was screaming in mortal agony by the time it finished and he was gagged so the noise stopped. He whimpered and moaned around the gag silently begging for release from this. He could not lose consciousness until they finished. Another of Angel’s spells.
"You’ll never do this again, will you Wesley?" Angel asked coldly. "Not that you’ll have the opportunity eh, Wes? I mean it was only pity they let you go with them for a day. No one could ever want you as family. Isn’t that right?"
Wesley nodded miserably. His eyes were overflowing with tears as he heard the words that had been running through his head since the day had begun. ‘Only Pity. Not wanted, never call for me again. Pity him so buy him clothes. Send him away and forget him.’ Just like everyone else in his life had. Send him away and forget.
"Be a good slave now, Wesley," Angel whispered as he and the others left the room. "You know what will happen if you Ever defy us again."
Wesley nodded, trying not to sob until the door closed and only then did they come. He sobbed out his pain as the faces flashed though his mind. Faces that had only tolerated him for a day out of pity. Faces that he would have given anything to be asked to stay by but they hadn’t. They had asked once and it had only been a politeness thing and he had known the answer had to be ‘no, thank you.’ He was a burden to everyone and he would never really be wanted. He was nothing, no one, not even worth anything to Child services. He was just forgotten. All he would ever be was forgotten.
"Good night, daddy," he whispered to the image of Giles in his mind. "I’m sorry I’m not good enough. I’m sorry I’m not Xander. Good night though, all the same. I love you. Even---Even if you---you can’t love me."
He cried himself to sleep in his little room where he was forgotten until AI needed someone to vent on or something translated an he lay shivering on the floor. No bed for him, no blanket, not even a pillow. He had lost pillow privilege with this punishment. He had lost everything but it was so cold and he whimpered and shivered.
He woke up briefly when someone touched his hair gently. He didn’t know who it was and he cringed in fear. "No more," he whimpered. "Please you said it was done."
"Shhh, Sweetheart," a voice whispered.
Lorne? Why was Lorne in his room? Lorne didn’t care about him either. No one ever asked to see him anymore. He had no friends at all.
"Not true, Sweetheart," Lorne whispered. "God, Wesley, why didn’t you hum for me when I was here last week? I would have helped you."
Wesley whimpered again and shivered violently as the coldness of the room got worse and he felt the jacket being laid over his tin shoulders. It was the good velvet one and he knew his blood would ruin it but it was nice and warm and so soft and he was cold and he was hurting and someone was being nice to him.
"That’s it, Sweetheart," Lorne whispered. "You just rest for me. I’ll help you."
Wesley whimpered as he was picked up and carried but it was Lorne and it was safe and no one would hurt him in the Bar and Wesley was too tired to care anymore.
"Sleep Sweetheart," Lorne whispered. "Everything is going to be fine now."
As he carried Wesley out of the hotel and to the car that was waiting, he heard Wesley whisper again goodnight, Daddy and he wondered whom he was supposed to call.
"Hum for me, Wes," Lorne said gently.
Wesley obeyed in his sleep and Lorne smiled now knowing. Oh, All of those bastards were going to pay, he knew. Because Ripper/Rayne Chaos Raisers were about to come to town.
*
In Sunnydale, Giles woke up from a deep sleep as he heard Wesley’s tearful voice in his head: "Good night, daddy," he heard whispered. "I’m sorry I’m not good enough. I’m sorry I’m not Xander. Good night though, all the same. I love you. Even---Even if you---you can’t love me."
"Oh, God, Wesley!" he cried out as he woke. He was moving stumbling around the room getting dressed as Ethan came back up from someplace.
"Ripper?" he asked.
"LA," Giles said. "I have to get to LA. Wesley needs me."
The phone rang then and Xander answered it. He came up the steps slowly and he looked like he’d just been told something very bad.
"We have to go to LA," he whispered. "Wesley---he’s hurt."
"Call Spike and Angelus," Giles whispered as rage began to burn through him. He knew. Without even knowing how, he knew. "Hell is coming for Angel," Giles whispered. "He just doesn’t know it yet."
Chapter 3: Sanctuary
The car screeched to a halt outside the Karaoke bar and Angelus, Spike, Giles, Ethan and Xander all spilled out of it. There was a green skinned, red horned demon waiting for them and he led them in and up to a room. He had balked at letting Angelus in until he really looked at him and realized that was Not by any comparison Angel.
Giles simply stared mutely as he walked into the room. Wesley, bruised and tormented and hurt, was lying on the bed in the room and he was in pain. It was obvious he had been abused badly and he was nude.
Xander walked forward with the bag of clothes he'd brought. The new clothes Wesley had left behind in Sunnydale, and Giles moved to his side helping to dress the young man who whimpered at the touches to his poor body.
"Shhh, baby," Giles soothed. "Daddy's here, baby. I'm here Wesley. I love you too, little one. I love you too. You are not less special to me because you aren't Xander. I am so sorry, little one. I do love you, Wesley and I do want you."
"Daddy?" Wesley whispered in his sleep. Giles felt tears sting his eyes as he gathered the young man to his chest and just hugged him while Xander dressed him. He hurt in his heart for this. He should have seen, he thought. He should have realized and made Wesley know he was wanted. Instead they had made Wesley believe exactly what he thought. They should have understood how he would feel, how he would think and they hadn't made him think it was any other way. They had treated him exactly as he thought they would and he had paid for what they had done.
"Xander," Giles whispered, "When we get him well and get him home, I'm going to have to focus on him for a bit. Is that okay with you? I didn't realize before how broken he was. I didn't understand and I thought, because he was older, he didn't need as much s you did and I---I was wrong. Wesley needed just as much reassurance as you did and I didn't give it to him then and this---This is what resulted from it."
"I'll be right there with you, dad," Xander whispered. "We're gonna fix his. Somehow we're gonna make this right."
Giles nodded and after they got Wesley dressed, they started to stand to leave. However, Wesley held Giles' hand too tightly and Giles understood.
"I wont leave you baby," Giles soothed gently. "I'm right here and I swear I wont leave you. Daddy's here, baby. Daddy's here."
He stayed by the bed, letting the others begin to work out the details of revenge. For once, Wesley was going to be more important than anything else he had to do. For once, Wesley was going to come first for someone.
"I want blood," Angelus whispered as he stood in the doorway watching. His sense of smell told him everything even though Lorne had bathed Wesley as soon as he'd gotten him here. He walked forward and gently kissed Wes' forehead.
"Mmm, Angelus," Wesley whispered. Giles watched as Wesley groped for the vampire's hand as well.
"Aye, luv," the vampire whispered gently. "I'm here. "Yer Angelus is here with ye."
Angelus had come to some realizations while they drove out here. He'd come to realize Wesley was his mate. That's why he felt drawn to him. That's why Wes felt as if he belonged to him.
"Will you help me care for him?" Giles asked. Angelus nodded as he brushed Wesley's hair off his face gently.
"Aye, Giles," the vampire said as he sat on the other side of the bed. "I'll help ye."
Xander and Ethan joined them in toe room with the Lorne who brought in a few more chairs so everyone could sit.
"Gunn sang in front of me tonight," Lorne told them when they all looked at him.
"I can read auras and futures and sometimes the past if you sing or hum in my presence and Gunn, after he had 'punished' Wesley hummed in front of me and I saw everything. As soon as they all went out I went in and got him. I didn't know whom to call so I asked him to hum for me and I saw all of you. Mr. Giles, Wesley doesn't think you love him. He doesn't think anyone cares about him. He accepted everything being done to him as his lot in life.
"It's going to change," Giles said. "Everything is going to change."
"I hope so," Lorne said. "Because, Mr. Giles, he has been abused for his entire life. The man, who raised him, while not physically like that young man there, abused him mentally, emotionally, and sexually. Wesley doesn't know what Family Love is because he's never had it. He doesn't know that anyone could possibly love him. And to be honest buying him clothes and dinner but not actually looking at him at all that day did nothing to help his abysmal self-image. I know you didn't do it intentionally but he saw at as confirmation that he was only there that day out of obligation and pity you all had to at least tell him."
Ethan took Giles' place while he walked out of the room. A few moments later, there was a loud crack as Giles had apparently punched something. Spike looked out the door and whistled at what he saw. Giles had punched the wall so hard his hand had gone through it. And, he was standing and there were tears running down his face.
"Dammit," Giles said. "Dammit, dammit, dammit!"
"Rupert, it wasn't your fault," Spike said.
"No Spike?" Giles asked. "Tell me whose fault it is then? He is my son as much as Xander is. I made him. I should have treated him the same way I treated Xander and I did not. I basically ignored him through that whole day. I didn't ask what he wanted for dinner, we ordered pizza and he ate what was there and I know he wanted something else. Thinking on it now I see him looking at the sub shop but because Xander wanted Pizza we had pizza. Xander wanted to go to the arcade we went to the arcade. That day was for both of them and yet all I did was what Xander wanted to do even though I Knew Wesley wanted to look in other stores. Tell me I didn't treat one son better than the other. Look me in the eye and tell me I did not show overt favoritism to Xander. Tell me that Spike. And when you do I will call you a liar. I am aware of what I did. I knew it when Wesley let the clothes behind. I couldn't remedy it then because it was too late and I may never get another chance to do so now if he doesn't recover. O you have any Idea how much I'm hurting right now? I hurt my son. I offered him a family and then made him feel like he was only window dressing there. That is how I feel right now, Spike. That is why I'm pissed off with myself."
"You think we don't feel the same way Rupes?" Spike asked. 'We all did it because we are all used to trying to make up for Xander's crappy childhood. We're all adjusting to this and maybe we screwed up. But, he needs you to be strong now Rupert. He needs you now to be the father who will love and protect him, who will make the hurt go away. You can't do that if you're castigating yourself. Wesley needs you to be strong for him. He needs you to carry him through this because he can't carry himself right now. So, what you need to do is apologize, make him know he is loved, and then you make it up to him. We go out again once this is dealt with, and we do what He wants to do. And then the time after that, we make it an even split. We go to a Xander place and then to a Wesley place. But we have to deal with this now. We have to make the ones who hurt out Wesley pay. And my Sire is of the mood to make it hurt. Make them bleed but first he wants them to suffer and we need you and Ethan at top form to do that"
Giles swallowed and nodded and they walked back into the room where they found Wesley looking around blearily. Giles moved to his side enveloping him in a tight hug.
"Never doubt I love you, little one," Giles whispered. "You are my son as much as Xander is. I am sorry I didn't make you feel as if you mattered but you do. You matter so much it hurt me when I realized what we'd done. We're going to fix t though. Next time we go out, and Wesley, there Will Be a next time, you get to pick what we do, okay?"
Wesley nodded and Giles could feel the tears soaking into his t-shirt as he held the boy. Wesley was trying to hide his pain but Giles just hugged him tighter and the tears began to fall faster and Wesley was soon unable to suppress the sobs that had been hidden in him for so long. Giles felt the others join the hug including Lorne who just laid his hand on Wesley's shoulder.
"It's okay, Wesley," Giles soothed. "It's okay. You have a family now and we'll take care of you. I promise baby. I promise."
"I'm sorry," Wesley whispered. "I don't mean to need so much."
"You've hardly asked for anything, little one. You don't need much, you need what you need. T he same as Xander does. And I have it to give than it is yours. And that includes all the love a father has for his son. And you are my son."
Wesley clung tightly as the storm of tears in him was finally able to release and Giles just held him with the others of their family standing around.
"You want to get some rest?" he asked. "I promise we're here. We may not be in the room but we are all here. We'll be right here with you and when you are strong enough, we'll go home. You live there now too. It is our family home and you have a place there too if you want it. Now, snuggle down and get some rest. Here now, hold on to this and rest. He took care of me when I hurt."
Giles laid a teddy bear in Wesley's arms and then kissed his forehead gently. Wesley was soon asleep and the group quietly left the room. Wesley hugged the bear tightly and as soon as they had left, Angelus looked at Giles.
"You can have Angel. Spike can have Gunn. Xander can have Cordelia and Ethan can have Fred. I want Jonothan Wyndham-Pryce. I want him dead!"
"I have an idea for those four bastards," Ethan said. "It requires costuming but I can teach them a real lesson about slavery."
"Outside to inside?" Giles asked in a totally Ripperish fashion. Ethan nodded giving his Evil Smile and Giles hugged him and kissed him deeply.
"I love your vengeance, Ethan. We can do this."
"Damn right we can," Lorne said as he had an inkling. "I can get whatever costumes you need for it and I hope you make it hurt."
"Hurt, humiliate and degrade," Ethan said coldly. "They will rue the fucking day. My Vow."
