Rick had gone back to Cairo for a holiday and to look up some old friends. Evy was busy in London and Alex was at school. It was about a year since Ahm Shere and he was bored. He wanted some excitement and he knew he would find it in Egypt.

Jonathan was already there, on some dig or another, always trying to find some lost treasure or another.
