Pairing: Robin/Marion
Rating: nc-17
Summary: This story is based on the third "fantasy" season of Robin of Sherwood starring Michael Praed, that I created starting with "Nothing Is Ever Forgotten" (which is archived). It would be one story in the series although would follow eps. 2 or 3. (Like watching Star Wars 1 thru 3 and then finding out they are actually 4 thru 6.) Now that you're as confused as I am, I can just continue with the story
Warning: violence, threatened rape, angst

Summary: Between seasons, when it was announced that Michael Praed had left the show to do a play, I was broken-hearted. I heard things from England and New York. The play had closed in one day and Praed had offered to come back to the series, but was turned down. I still thought that perhaps it would happen (he was so popular), and I wrote an opening two hour movie to bring him back. Of course, no one is supposed to know it is Praed until the hood is pulled back...than the usual opening could run. Several things happened: My title turned out to be the same as theirs (Herne's Son), I added a character I thought should have been in the show to begin with, and I could further my thoughts of the mysticism. (Ironically, part of *my* concept for the new season, was also mirrored in their new season. I had just taken it in a different direction.)

Summary: The following was written when Robin of Sherwood first aired on Showtime as `Robin Hood', about 1983 or 1984. I disliked waiting for the next episode, so I wrote my own. Also, I felt that not enough mysticism was involved, as we were lead to believe it would be for this reincarnation of Robin Hood. I, always, believed that Herne and Albion had more power over Robin (as did Marion and his band's love and respect), than was presented in the show. This version was edited in 2004
