Friends

I've got a lot of friends.
Most are casual ones.
People I see each day.
But I don't have many "real" friends.
Most people don't understand me.
I scare them away.
Sometimes I get scared away.
But there are a precious few who understand.
Who aren't afraid.
Who truly care about me.
I'm glad you're one of them.

--Friends are the people who leave footprints in one's soul and an emptiness in one's heart when they are gone. An emptiness that is filled when you see them once again.----
