About the Movie:
Freddy Heflin is the sheriff of
Garrison, New Jersey, a small town that many NYPD officers call
home. But when an officer is responsible for a violent incident
involving a civilian, he leads his own investigation and uncovers a
racially-charged conspiracy within the NYPD.

Trivia
- In the scene in which Ray Liotta
confronts Robert Patrick in the bar, Liotta shoves a rubber dart
up his left nostril.
- Robert Patrick got the part
after running into actor Peter Berg and the film's producer and
music supervisor, Meryl Poster, who were staying in the same hotel
in New York. He got the script and then read for director James
Mangold a few days later.
- Robert Patrick later guest
starred in three episodes of The Sopranos. Fellow Copland alumni
who later went on to appear in The Sopranos include: Arthur J. Nascarella, Edie Falco, John
Ventimiglia and Tony Sirico.
