Lovely piece -- you captured both of the guys very well (of *course* Fraser would love a drive-in, and of course Ray would go along with it). And there was a sweet-without-being-saccharine feel to this that I really enjoyed.

Yeah, a colour "Forbidden Planet" was a slip-up. I think I'm going to claim this story is set in an alternative universe!

ROFL - a lovely short. The 'with *Leslie Nielsen*' line, the alien gender dating thing - all sorts of hilarious little bits. I ended up with a big silly grin on my face. Great!
