I needed five minutes to get the laughing fit out of my system before I could start writing this comment. The things you do with words to make them into jokes! (That's not a new trick of course, but one you practise extremely well). I like it that you switched the usual order of first the problem, then the sex, and had the sex *be* the problem instead. And I like it that you kept the canonical competition in. To have Fraser and Kowalski be very much together, without having them be in either eternal bliss or shared sorrow is literally something else. I like it a lot.
