Author's Notes: Cowabunga and welcome to my first-ever foray into fan fiction. (The author doesn't like referring to herself in the third person...) I've set this particular tale very, very early in the history of SG-1, practically at the beginning of the saga. As I have not actually seen the way it starts (only have seen last half of season the first and first half of season the second) - I may have gotten some facts wrong and if so I do apologize.
